The PS6 will be released at the Holiday period of 2027, giving the PS5 a 7 year run.
Can I just say I called it? I said PS6 will be released around in 2027 or 2028, but I'm glad it's sooner than expected!. Now i have a point with this. Since Harada wants Tekken 9 immediately after, then...*drum rolls* The Gamer Awards in December 2027 should have the official announcement for Tekken 9 as the PS6 would be releasing around that time!.

It was taken from an interview that Harada and Micheal did with Anna's old Voice Actress and the announcer for the characters. Tekken 8 getting 4 seasons sounds good to me, actually. It's enough. That's around the same Tekken 8 had.
What would you like to see in Tekken 9? i personally would love to see Kazuya getting a happy ending and his redemption. Maybe Jun is pregnant with their second child and he has to protect them from Heihachi and Reina and rise up as his role as a husband and a father. Speaking of Reina, i really am really hopping she gets redemption too. She's a young girl, a teenager with a trust on the wrong man. She doesn't really realise that Heihachi is using her. I'd love to see her realize Heihachi's true character and step up to the right path, maybe with Jun's help.
Those are some things i'd like to see, other than that, i really hope Anna gets more of a role and works with Kazuya again along with Lee, Bruce and Lars. The two ladies, Jun and Anna with the Mishima brothers and Bruce would be too awesome to see. Perhaps even Lidia will play more role! i liked her in the latest story DLC update. Ah! and i'd love to see Forest back into the game, he's be gone for too long and we need more young people in Tekken.
Another thing i want to see is a teenage boy newcomer. It would be cool too to see in Tekken 8 or in 9, we haven't seen a teenage boy in Tekken although we have many teen girls in the tournament. I think Bandai should make that more equal. xD
